Hi,
After following a number of tips and videos to get my mouse fully functional inside the cockpit environment I am about to give up on MSFS 2024.
With my mouse I can zoom in and out but not pan L/R/Up/Down. I can activate a button or two but have no idea what the status of the button is at the time such as AP is On or Off. I cannot change Heading or Altitude. My mouse is a Logitech M470 and I am a PC player.
I tried a different mouse but had the same dismal results.
This same mouse works flawlessly in the MSFS 2020 environment.
I sure could use some advice here… Thank you.

If you use a joystick try creating a small neutral zone for it so it doesn’t grab the mouse
Have you tried resetting the control settings in MSFS for the mouse? (Change one of the settings, save it, then reboot the sim and go back into control settings for the mouse and go back to Default). And if it’s happening with 2 different mice then it could be a windows 10/11 mouse setting, check those and reset to default if you’ve changed them. And does the mouse work fine elsewhere in windows? All else fails you could do a MSFS 2024 re-install (try repairing it first and then do a complete reinstall) which isn’t too hard or time consuming. I had to do that once already for the sim not recognizing my graphics card was an rtx card with DLSS and the sim wouldn’t allow some of the graphics settings to be changed.
Thank you for your suggestions which I implemented unfortunately without success.
Oddly enough, last week I ordered a new controller, the T.Flight Hotas One in an effort to save some real estate space on my desk.
I removed my X56 gear and installed the Hotas One and now the mouse does what it is supposed to do.I have to say my virgin test flight from STT to Virgin Gorda was super smooth and I am now looking forward to spending more time in the Sim. Thank you all for your input.
Happy Flying!
