Mouse pointer sometimes disappears!

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:When in VR mode and the button “Ready to fly” is present to click, the mousepointer is sometimes not present, you can hover around with the mouse and see the button get highlighted but you cant see the mouse.

Did you experience this issue before you joined the Beta? Yes

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?Sometimes, but pretty often i will say..

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

1.Go in VR mode
2.Start a flight so the ready to fly button is present
3.Start a flight several times in VR at different airports to see the mousepointer vanish.

• Yes.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• This happens every so often in VR. Tabbing out of the sim and back in does not work. I cannot press any keyboard commands to continue (enter) or esc to get back to the menu.

There are two ways to get out of this bug:

  1. Leave VR mode and manually press “Fly Now”, then enter back into VR mode.
  2. Force-quit the sim (CTRL+F4). However, restarting does NOT fix the issue.

I’m not sure why this occurs, but when it does fix itself it seems to stick.

Any more attention to this issue?, i had it happen to me three times today..

Same issue frequently for me in VR

Do any of you with this bug have multiple monitors? I found (non beta) that the sim sometimes does not keep the mouse on the main monitor. If you turn off your secondary monitor it “should” return to normal function. If your using Virtual Desktop, turn off the secondary monitor after going into Virtual desktop so it shuts off the second desktop in the program as well.

Not saying this is a “Fix”, but a work around with this bug until they fix it.
