The mid wheel click button resets zoom level when clicked in and out of free look mode.

I’ve tried manipulating some of the assignments thinking possibly they added another feature which caused both to be triggered at the same time but to no avail. Can’t utilize free look to zoom in on a switch and then click out to manipulate anything

I am seeing the same behavior as the OP.

Also experiencing the same issue in both Lock and Legacy cockpit interaction system - when in freelook (mid-click) I can zoom in and out, but after mid-clicking to toggle out of freelook it zooms back out automatically to a default level of zoom. Very problematic and breaks cockpit workflow.

PC (store). Logitech trackball. No other cockpit camera commands mapped to mid-click.
