Exactly. In my version of Win 10 (Home) Bitlocker is not fully supported so whe something locks files I can’t undo that even if I obtain full BL first (which is the obvious move). And I tried everything as admin which I am anyway but to be sure I envoked it at every stage
Yes well I cloned the drive knowing a full reinstall was needed - plz read my post !

Any advice on moving MSFS on a external drive , if its possible?? or do i have to go and use seagate plug in stright into XBox S ? Go easy, I honestly don’t know what to do to expand which i will have to do in the near future.

Many thanks for replying TenPatrol , I’ll look at the link and educate myself . I wasn’t sure because in ghe old days i used msfs then changed to xplane of cause all on PC. But then changed XBox S i didn’t think it was windows based. Many thanks.
