Moving settings & control profiles from Game Pass to Steam?

AFAIK settings are saved in the cloud for Game Pass and MS Store versions, but what about going from Game Pass to Steam? And if the settings are not automatically transferred then how do I manually backup and transfer the settings and control profiles?

FYI I decided to buy the Steam version instead of the MS Store version because the game files in the MS Store version is locked inside a XVD virtual drive for (I think) DRM reasons, as it shares the same setup as Game Pass. I’ve been tinkering with addons since FSFW95.

Just to answer my own question, the answer is NO. You’ll need to start again on the settings and control profiles.

Slightly more worrying however is that marketplace purchases aren’t carried over from Game Pass to Steam either. The world update ‘purchases’ were lost and had to be ‘re-purchased’.
