ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: I purchased the A2A Comanche 250 via MSFS2020 Market Place during the latest sale. When I chose the 250 in MSFS 2024, the PMS GTN 750 is too dark in the daytime. I cannot use the A2A hotfix because I did not purchase directly from A2A, so the GTN 750 remains too dark during the day.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
A2A Comanche 250

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
Yes

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

Every time I use the Comanche 250 in the daytime

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Every time on sim load.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Start MSFS 2024.
  2. Chose the A2A Comanche 250 and PMS GTN 750.
  3. Chose airport and load int.
  4. Power up A2A and turn on Avionics.
  5. The GTN 750 is too dark to read in the daytime.
  6. A2A Simulations has the fix, but Asobo must apply and update the Market Place installation with it.

Hi @ShakerKitty10 ,

Thank you for this report. We’ve moved your topic into the User Support Hub.

The Bug Reporting Hub is for posting suspected or confirmed bugs that other users are able to reproduce without duplicating an existing bug report. Using the template or providing all the relevant information about your bug and sim setup is required in order to provide valuable information, feedback, and replication steps to our test team.

If you are not sure if your issue is a bug or need further input from the community, please use the User Support Hub category. If the community can replicate your issue, first search the Bug category to see if there’s an existing topic. If it already exists, contribute to that report. Duplicate bug reports will be closed.

If you believe it is a new report and no duplicate exists, then create a new bug topic using the provided topic template.

All issues caused by or involving third-party addons/mods should be reported to the third-party developer. Assure that no addons/mods are used when reporting issues in Bug Reports.

Not sure why you moved this to here. A2A is well aware of this issue and reports that Asobo must update their files to solve this problem. It seems to me you are pointing back to A2A and A2A is pointing to you…in the meantime, your customers (me) lose out…

I don’t understand why this is happening…

So many times you read do not purchase from the Market Place for exactly these reasons…

Please help us instead of turning us away…

I understand what you are saying but the Bug Reporting Hub is dedicated to Bugs for the core sim and 1st party content only. Repeating what comes above: all issues caused by or involving third-party addons/mods should be reported to the third-party developer.
As you mentioned, since a2a-simulations is aware of this issue, they should have already raised that issue to Asobo through a dedicate support channel they have with them. Hopefully a solution/fix will be available soon.

This is not just an A2A problem. Cowansim helis have this issue as well as the default DC-3. the 750 is way too dark in daytime and bright at night. In the GNS 530, its too dark at night and bright in daytime. Exact opposite.

Something is dimming the avionics too much.
