MS Addon linker not run as administrator elevated possible?

Anyone know if there is a way to run ms addon linker non elevated and still work with the symbolic links? Id like openkneeboard to launch from the options in the addon linker but it cant because it becomes elevated which wont work properly.

I don’t think there’s a way around this.

I personally avoid any 3rd party tools/utilities that require you to run as Elevated, as it’s a security risk.
