I’m flying the stock C172 + G1000 … works fine but after 5-8 minutes the G1000 shuts down (screen go dark), I can still fly the plane but no display …
Did you turn the alternator on? Or did you leave the starter engaged instead of moving back to both?
Sounds like you’re draining the battery.

the key is in the BOTH position under MAGNETOS (and to the right of R L )
Abs have you turned the alternator on?
is my fuel pump off? this is all as found when spawning on the takeoff runway
Fuel Pump doesn’t need to be on (it is turned on before start to get some fuel pressure.)
Do you have external controllers mapped to the magnetos / starter? Your symptoms do rather sound like the starter is stuck on (even if the animation in the cockpit doesn’t show it.)
… I think you were right … I have a control with ignition and starter … i found by jiggling those buttons before I start , the blackout doesn’t happen … thanks all
