This is hilarious that with 100Mbits/s bandwidth I am able to fully utilize available speed when downloading content from various sources but from the servers used by one of the giant corporation download speeds are usually between 3 and 20Mbits/s, sometimes spiking over 35 for few seconds.
It’s 2022, not 1997 with dial-up connections.
All the possible fixes I read in FAQ applied, various different solutions tested and nope, still no full utilization.
Valve, Ubisoft and plenty of other companies are better with their servers.
From what I’m reading, this is a problem since release date and while I can understand that for first months it was OK because enormous interest in new tittle, it has been already over two years and the problem lasted till this day.
Microsoft/Asobo, it’s time to finally make it right.

I’ve never seen higher than about 250-300Mbits, on a 660Mbit connection. That’s okay, but not ideal.
Well, with 250-300Mbits/s it might be not be felt but still, you should be able to utilize the full bandwidth, right?
Agreed, hence my “not ideal”. It also doesn’t help that people feel this most keenly when a new patch has been released. So unsurprisingly their servers take a hit with potentially 100,000’s of users all connect at once.
COnnections are throttled because multiple people download at once. Wifi is also not good for it. OFten it gets throttled further, Make sure you are wired.
Sure we have 1-2gig/sec speeds here but you wont be downloading from any company that fast. Averages 200-300mb/sec not 1000mb/sec. or corp lan allows 800mb/sec but throttles down with heavy use.
DING! DING! DING!
Also, cable providers throttle your download speeds depending on traffic in your area.
That’s the nice thing about having fiber. Full bandwidth, all the time.
Only then can you blame everyone else downloading from the MicroSobo servers.
