Hi All,
Since updating MSFS to 1.20.6.0 a few days ago (#PC version via XBOX app)
My XBOX One controller is not responding at all in MSFS, either in menus or when flying.
MSFS is seeing the XBOX One controller connected via Bluetooth. But none of the buttons work.
I have tried unpairing the controller in Windows 11, restarting and then repairing but it makes no difference. The controller was working perfectly prior to the update. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
Hello @thebastiche ,
is the controller showing up in the MSFS key bindings menu and if it does, have you tried to reset the controllers bindings to default?
Hi,
Yes to both, the controller is showing up in the key bindings menu and I rest the controller bindings to default last night.
My PS4 controller (connected via Bluetooth) was not even recognized by the sim after update 6. It was showing in my Windows device manager and worked fine in other MS games (Forza, etc). I had to delete the controller from my Windows devices and add it again. This fixed the issue with MSFS not recognizing it, however the update also wiped all of my custom button configurations so I have to rebuild them all from scratch.
Tried again last night and this had fixed itself, the xbox controller was working correctly in MSFS.
Not sure what happened the previous day.
So thought this had fixed itself but switched the PC on today and the xbox controller connected via BT and was able to control other games. But when I started MSFS the controller is now not appearing at all.
The controller option has disappeared from the control options window. Including after several PC shutdown and restarts. Any ideas?
