MSFS 2020 - Airbus A400M Atlas: Broken HUD

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
The captain’s side HUD is constantly projecting onto the cockpit window without the visor even being lowered in the first place. As far as I’m aware, there is nothing I can do on my end to fix this issue? Lowering the visor and then raising it again makes no difference, and the display will annoyingly always remain in the way. This can be seen in the screenshot which I have attached to this post. Upon reading other forum posts, I know I’m not the only person to encounter this issue. Interestingly, the first officer’s side HUD is working as expected and doesn’t suffer any issues for me.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? 100% of the time.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Load into the aircraft in a cold & dark state.

  2. Turn on the external power.

  3. Look at cockpit glass and the HUD is projected there without the visor being lowered.

It’s also worth noting that this issue seems to occur regardless of which state the aircraft is in when loaded into. It still happens to me when starting on the runway too.
