Ok So after looking at it I’m guessing the packages that were updated during the City Update 10 were corrupt. Is there a way that I can delete them and possibly have the sim re-download them at the checking for updates screen? Any help would be appreciated. I’ve got CTP on Saturday and this just cropped up. THANKS!

Ok I was able to resolve it. I deleted my scenery index and tried to reload the sim. It still crashed at the same point but when I went back to check the scenery index folder it had only re-built about 20 files. I assumed the update files were corrupted for some reason. Looking at my Official Packages folder I looked for the ones with the most recent updates. Luckily I back up my PC regularly and found the same fs-base files on my backup drive and simply replaced the corrupted ones with the backup ones. When I reloaded the sim it indicated I needed to update the sim and it downloaded about 1.5g and proceeded to load. I guess all of this is a good reminder to regularly backup your stuff. I hope everyone has enjoyed me posting and replying to myself on this journey
