Yesterday I noticed that one of the airports I had purchased in MSFS2020 is not showing as purchased in MSFS2024. I’ve had MSFS2024 for a long time and I know some add-ons can take time to appear, but this one has never shown up.
Which airport is it?
It may not be compatible so is permanently not going to show up. I have a few like that.
Yeah, I thought that might be the case. However, I have some add-ons that I purchased in 2020 that do appear in 2024, although marked as not compatible. This one doesn’t show up at all. It was LPPT, but I don’t remember the developer. I would need to install 2020 to find out. ![]()
There’s two different ones on the Market. FeelThere (really poorly rated) and MK Studios (fairly well rated). Both fairly expensive.
Are you certain you bought it on the Market? This fooled me once. I thought I had something there but it was Orbx. Is there a chance you got the one from flightsim.to? There’s a free version there too.
So this is partly a guess from what I’ve seen with my own things… If they built a new one for 2024, you may not be able to see the old one. And if they didn’t give a discount, you won’t see it as a discounted upgrade. I’m as certain as I can be a fair number of airports I owned in 2020 aren’t showing up either. I just can’t be bothered to install 2020 and go look : / Sounds like you’re in a similar boat lol
I know I had one for sure and it stands out in my memory because of the ICAO. SKAM. I knew it would be a scam (does that make it not a scam?) because of the developer and bought it for the fun of showing screenshots. It’s not showing up in 2024 - Probably no one but me misses it.
Edit: I did a manual search and it did show up now. I promise it didn’t used to though!
Since half of what I said is now pretty questionable, I’d say it might be worth installing 2020 just to find out which dev it was and following up with them. If you owned MK or FeelThere, either one are fairly expensive airports and hopefully you’d be entitled to an upgrade price at the least.
Thanks man, I think I’ll end up installing MSFS2020 again just to clear up this doubt.
Thanks for the help.
