Looking for suggestions for a moving map app to use with MSFS 2020. I prefer a native iPad app so as to reduce the load on my pc.
The software on the pc Shoukd be as light as possible.

In real life I used ForeFlight on an iPad. So for simming I kept up my subscription and connect it to MSFS 2020 with the Flight Events software.

I use the freeware vfrmap app on an old iPad. Works very well under msfs2020.
Hmm, I see no app by that, or a similar, name in the App Store. There’s vfrmap.com but that offers no flight tracking feature as it doesn’t actually connect to the sim.
I use Navigraph, they offer a very good iPad app among many other great features. It’s not free ofc.
The vfrmap.com is the wrong link.
use: https://github.com/lian/msfs2020-go/blob/master/vfrmap/readme.md
The attached images show the set-up screen and the link to the iPad.
Works very well for me.
