Msfs 2020 night red clouds in the distance and yellow blobs on the ground

At night (not sunset or sunrise), the clouds in the distance appear very orange/red. To me this looks quite unrealistic, especially when flying over less populated areas. In real life, night clouds usually look dark grey or almost black, with very little color unless you’re very close to strong city lights. Which is perfectly simulated in msfs 24.

There’s also another issue where distant city lights turn into blurry yellow “smudged” blobs in the distance, likely a LOD/rendering issue. It becomes pretty noticeable at higher altitudes and breaks immersion.

I’ve attached screenshots to show what I mean. Personally, the nights look much more realistic when the clouds stay neutral/dark/brown ish and the distant lighting fades more smoothly.

Not sure if this is intended behavior or if its just my personal opinion but i believe it can be improved.

I agree.i think the night time looks really bad and it really ruins the exprience of flying at night

Filipa thank you for adressing this.

Basically i cant have much to add other then it indeed ruins nightflying. Everytime im thinking lets use real time but i regret it each time. Feels so unrealistic. Its to dark.

Please give this some attention! Plenty of 2020 users still.
