MSFS 2020 wake up after PC being in Sleep mode

As MSFS2020 takes forever to boot up I have been looking at the possibility of leaving MSFS2020 running whilst putting the PC into sleep mode overnight and waking it up the next day.

The PC certainly wakes up but FS2020 more often than not hangs. I can restart (sometimes) the FS executable using Task Manager but was wondering if anyone else had tried the same.

Could you be more specific when you say “forever to boot up”. How long is forever in your head?
