I see your point. Perhaps Asobo could follow the Xplane approach where you decide which parts of the world you download?
In other words just install/stream the areas you fly.
To make it look like Xplane? Not a chance
Why not just do one version as probably most of the good stuff would be in the, lets say gold or premium version anyway.
It would save a lot of indecision.
