Description of the issue:
Taxiway paving is missing - Taxiway is modeled as gravel.

Coordinate or location of issue:
KMOX in Morris, MN
Taxiway A along runway 14 / 32 is missing its pavement and some signage (but does have some ground markings). In the sim, it appears and functions as a very lumpy gravel taxiway (is that even a thing?).

  1. Fly or spawn at KMOX

  2. Taxi on Taxiway A parallel to runway 14

  • Description – missing runway 22L/04R, a newly built runway taken into service on 16 April 2026. It can be verified by checking charts and navidata of cycle 2604. The original runway 22/04 (which was currently marked as 22L/04R in the game) is temporarily closed and will be renamed as 22R/04L.

  • By the way, ZPPP is planned to build 5 runways, now already built 3 of them.

Actually, I’ve got this news because I made a business trip. The plane I ride took off from runway 22 (now runway 22R). After I finished my business trip, the plane landed at the new runway 22L, and the runway 22 is closed for update construction. If required, I’ve got some photos and videos.

Do you have any reference to a closure notice? The research I’ve done shows that RMB Chivenor was slated to close in 2027 but that decision was overturned and it’ll be remaining open. Helicopters still operate there, RN and RAF.

The east/west runway is still active in this image:

deleted - UHF

That isn’t a good way to determine if an airfield is closed.

So how do helicopters advise folk of activity at an airfield if there are no frequencies. At the very least it is a fault at that airfield for it not to have a frequency

Edit - It is using UHF not VHF

The fact that FS says there are no frequencies doesn’t necessarily mean none are in use at the actual airfield! After all, the whole point of this thread is to highlight errors and inaccuracies.

Deleted after correction

Pointing out there are no frequencies is ok but you’ve said it’s “No longer an active airport”. Your assumption is wrong and misleading.

Vehicles parked on disused runways isn’t unusual either.

Your post should just stick to the facts.

“There are no frequencies for the airport.”

RM Chivenor is still an active airfield. Whilst no fast jet or multi engine aircraft use it, helicopters of the RN, RM and RAF still do. It is also home to No. 624 Volunteer Gliding Squadron RAF. You can tell which runway is used and that the other 2 runways are disused runways.

Is it possible that since it’s a military field it uses UHF frequencies only? The sim doesn’t use or display those. There are several outlying landing fields on the east coast of the US that use only UHF frequencies, and those have nothing listed in the sim, either.

I dont know. I’ll have a look at others to see.
I know in sim in India and Saudi and the Northern African countries they do show frequencies because I have landed there.

deleted - agreed with @CharlieFox00

This is missing the point and those examples are not relevant to the possiblity I discussed.

The majority of military airports do have a VHF frequency for tower, but some military airports will be UHF-only and the sim does not show UHF frequencies. It’s rare, but it’s a thing.

Look at 13NC and 14NC for examples in the US. Both airports are clearly open, yet have no VHF frequencies and thus no communications are listed in the sim. I have a feeling this will be more likely with those that are geared for helicopter-only operations and my guess is the airport in question is configured this way.

OK, I now see the difference - thanks
Chivenor = from Skyvector
