MSFS 2024 Career:
Please include some (or all) of the Famous Flyers and Local Legends, 40th Anniversary planes as part of the Career inventory.

It would be great to get that added value out of them.

They can be used for Sightseeing, Thrill rides, Airshow performing, photography to think of a few.

You could even use the DC3 as an airliner for small airlines (Ice Pilots?).

I have all the local legends from fs2020 and noticed they don’t have fs2024 career mode categories, and want to fly the old local legends in the fs2024 career mode

Yes, it’s a missed opportunity by MSFS.

  1. Flying famous flyer and local legends planes sightseeing missions would be very cool.
  2. Creating air show missions with vintage planes would be very cool.
  3. Having a Vintage Air company for the above missions would be fun.
  4. It would help MSFS upsell those planes, making the aviators bundle more of a value, and producing more income using what asserts they already have..

It would have been a cheaper way to start an airline with the ATR’s, Boeing 337, an2, ju52, tri motor, condor, dc3, and the Curtis, cargo ops we could have actually used the DeHavilland, ATR, and mu2 and the an225, plus if they added local legends into career mode I would be more likely to fly them more if they had career mode type categories

Agree.
I sent MSFS these ideas via the zen desk when I had a ticket open for an issue with missing content. I asked they would forward the idea…not sure they did,. The reply was that they are working on adding more planes but I suspect that will only be modern planes.

That is part of the problem with MSFS only reviewing forum ranked requests. Ideas that are “out of the box” so to speak or not “the usual”, general requests like “more planes” the do not see ideas that might just be successful once implemented, like adding the vintage planes as discussed here. But at least there is an outside chance someone at Asobo or MS might browse this.

That’s what I hope career mode dose not get limited to, because we need more older planes (cargo and passengers) to balance out the new aircraft budget in career mode
