MSFS 2024 does not respond to "Toggle Active Pause" after setting up new new keybind

MSFS 2024.

I’ve seen a lot of posts about this, not only here, but also on google. But I’m not able to solve this.

My keyboard dose not have a “Pause” key so I need to assign a different key. I’ve assigned “Toggle Active Pause” to “P” key.

I don’t see a “Set Active Pause” “Resume Active Pause” at all.

MSFS does not pause when I press the “P” key, so I must be doing something wrong here.

Further, MSFS does not pause when I press the pause button in the top screen dropdown.

Any ideas on how to get it to work?

User Error. I realized that when I pressed the P key the simulator did actually pause. I couldn’t percieve this because the plane was on the ground and not moving. In MSFS 2020 you could tell that the pause happened because there was a sound change. I thought the sim was just not responding.
