I’m having a strange intermittent issue with the built-in EFB flight planner in MSFS 2024.
The exact same .PLN file successfully loaded yesterday, but today the EFB won’t load it at all.
At the same time, the manual flight planning function also appears to be broken. I can select a departure airport and destination airport, but pressing Route Search does absolutely nothing.
What’s confusing is that this seems to happen randomly. Sometimes the flight planning functions work normally, and then later they suddenly stop working again without me changing anything.
I’ve already tried:
- Restarting MSFS 2024
- Returning to the main menu and starting another flight
- Closing and reopening the EFB
- Trying a VPN
None of these consistently fixes the problem.
I’m using the Steam version of MSFS 2024.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is this a known EFB/Flight Planner bug or is there a workaround?
