MSFS 2024 - Glider at Airport?

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Why are there glides at the big international airports?
The first time I saw it at Dublin international EIDW. The next time at Berlin EDDB even the gangway moved downwards the glider and stays (see picture).
There should be a restriction on size and aircraft type when parking at the terminal, the field or the airport at all.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? seems to be a permanent issue.

I saw a glider once or twice at KJFK, but just assumed it was either someone else in multiplayer goofing around or bad model matching. It didn’t bother me enough to investigate the issue.

Fixed gliders spawning as passive aircraft

I think gliding fields are a great addition in 2024 and I’ve even seen AI gliders taking off, flying around and landing. Certainly enjoyable to watch but seeing them at major airports and watching jetways connecting to them is bizarre.

There are so many minor bugs in MSFS2024 it’s imperative that the development team make sure that they actually fix a bug when they take the time to look at it otherwise we’ll never see a significant reduction in bugs. This sim has so much potential.

I read somewhere that the issue of Gliders spawning at gates was fixed? In EGMC (London Southend) this is not the case in fact to quote Michael Cain in Zulu there are ‘Fazands of em’ question is do you think this is because my rolling cache is storing them or is it still an active issue?

You can clear de rolling cache eventually to test. I’m not sure of this is fixed.

Not only gliders, but as I taxi up to a gate with a jetway all sorts of GA planes spawn in and fill up the gates. I have the airport traffic set to the lowest setting and still get this and way too many GA planes at FBO’s etc.

• Gliders are at all Airports I fly into. Also GA aircraft all over the place. Infuriating, fly for 2 hours, land, and can’t find a stand to park at due to all the Gliders and GA dotted all over the place! Can’t be too hard to fix surely?
