MSFS 2024 Graphics rendering not working

  • Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 or 2024:
    MSFS 2024

  • Version Build Number (Where do I locate that?):

  • Game Platform (Exampe: Steam, Xbox, MS Store):

:white_check_mark: ISSUE DESCRIPTION

  1. Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
    No mods/add-ons used

  2. Description of the issue:
    Game does not render any graphics other than video/logo playback. After XBox/Asobo logos the game displays white screen only, with music playing and making menu-navigating sounds if I press any arrow key, but nothing is displayed.
    Exiting full-screen mode or resizing game window (if already in windowed mode) displays static, large Ascii-like symbols.

:white_check_mark: FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you? (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)

:white_check_mark: REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue.

  1. Start the game, either through steam or directly launching the FlightSimulator2024.exe
  2. Big low-res circle resembling a loading indicator appears
  3. XBox/Asobo/Logos play normally with screen turning white in-between each logo
  4. Screen turns white. Upon resizing it, it displays weird symbols

    Standard USB keyboard + mouse

  2. [PC Only] Are you using Developer Mode or have you made any changes to it?
    No

  3. [PC, MSFS 2020 Only] Are you using DX11 or DX12?
    MSFS 2024

  4. [PC Only] Many issues may be due to an outdated graphics card. Please state your Graphics Card Driver Manufacturer (NVIDIA, Intel, AMD) and Version (Learn how to find your current graphics card driver version):
    Intel Arc A750, driver version 32.0.101.6299

  5. [PC Only] What other relevant PC specs can you share?
    CPU i5 13600KF, Windows 10

Update: Disabling HDR at Windows level before starting the game fixes the issue.
HDR at OS level can be reenabled as soon as the game is running and everything continues to work and display correctly. However, the HDR option in-game is unavailable.
