It’s a flapping mess, a catastrophe, a bugfest. NOTHING works. NOTHING. The game is now literally inoperable without a mouse, so Xbox and Cloud players who don’t (or can’t) connect a mouse to operate the UI, the EFB and the instruments, are now completely unable to set up flights, flight plans or even fly in a somewhat realistic manner.
Even after two Sim Updates, and seeing the Sim Update 3 Beta, it’s clear that this game is not going anywhere. None of the fundamental, operational issues are being fixed. There’s no progress. On Xbox and Cloud, asset loading, graphics and performance are abysmal, unplayable, it’s a stutterfest with not even the textures and LODs loading properly. It just does not work.
At this point I wish Microsoft would pull the plug from the Xbox/Cloud version and refund players. The developers either can’t or don’t plan to fix the game for non-PC users.
This is a plane wreck and I’ve given up on it ever working. Shame on everyone in charge for this insult to the community.
