Hello all, looking for some help. After no issues I’ve suddenly lost control of the landing gear in all aircraft. On takeoff the gear retract with no input from me, and then I can’t lower them, whether it be with my TCA throttle quadrant, mouse clicking on the gear, or flight stick. I’m on PC version and haven’t changed anything recently. I’ve been through all the controller settings but can’t find anything. I do have a feeling I’m missing something obvious though!
Have you checked what controls you have bound to “Gear”. I’d guess a toggle switch on your TCA throttle quadrant is set to either toggle gear or gear up and is selected so as soon as you take off the gear retracts and then you can’t get it down again because the command is being overridden by the suspect key bind.
Hi Healer,
I got something eventually relating. It might give you a hint.
My landing gear will not retract when I use the corresponding input.
I ve been checking and wasting my time so much.
But I do have to confirm, the FS takes a certain air resistance into account when there are leftovers sticking over your chosen aircraft.
If it is real or not, I am not an professional surely.
Mine does not do when I input to do so.
Even if on screen I get an message that it did.
But see wheels from behind/ or buttom when I am over the Ocean far.
In my experience to my actual questions might only help insisting, give input up to five times.
Finally I CAN SEE going wheels inside airplane finally.
For me this kind of a thing only relates to PC so far, Xbox X excluded from this kind of a behavior.
My flight stick had strangely been assigned gear up and down by the gremlins. All good now and many thanks sir!
I am glad to read you could fix yours.
