I am having the same issue.
I have the LOCK symbol next to my Honeycomb Alpha .. and so it will not let me save new bindings.
How can there not be an option to UNLOCK this?
The controller mapping system in MSFS 2024 is a dog’s breakfast. I hate it with a passion.
And they do not provide a guide or manual, so they must think it is so intuitive. Well, it is not. And I do not know if it is just buggy (still 8 months after launch lol) or whether I just do not know how to operate it properly.
The system for deleting conflicts is also horrible. Unneccessary scrolling, menus that are not readable because they are BEHIND other on screen menus are also issues. It beggars belief as to how this UI was given the green light. But then again we know, that the whole thing should never have seen the light of day .. etc etc.
EDIT: Watched some YouTube explainers. I think my issue has been that I did not set up the name of the preset first.
Just goes to show that they need a freaking HOW TO MANUAL.
