I am also having this same issue…Even the default aircraft UTC is not changing when I am using custom times in the sim. The outside environment will change but not the time in the aircraft. It stays at the actual UTC time even in custom

Is that issue also happens with Asobo 1st party aircraft ?. The Bug Reporting Hub is only to report issues with 1st party developments, not 3rd party ones.

I wonder if this is why I get penalties in career mode for having my landing light off “at night” when the mission takes place in the daytime.

Hi, the issue occurs with Asobo’s aircraft as well as third-party ones. I should have clarified that earlier. I used a third-party aircraft as an additional test.

Yeah, changing time won’t matter in the aircraft, it always show the present time.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• Happens in any aircraft in MSFS2024 (both old FS2020 aircraft and new FS2024 aircraft). All displays, including analog clocks, that should show local time zone, instead show UTC. (In MSFS2020, the same aircraft display local time as expected.)

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

Here is the Cessna 172 that comes with FS2024, in KSFO San Francisco, California. Regardless of whether the time display is set to UTC or Local, UTC time is displayed:
