Dear all,
The issue: Peripheral profiles (Joystick/Throttle etc) no longer auto-switch when changing aircraft.
Background: A few weeks ago, I hit a Microsoft Cloud Sync error that reset my MSFS 2024 profile to factory settings. Since then, I’ve noticed that whenever I swap aircraft types, the sim no longer detects which peripheral profile should be active. I have to manually re-select my joystick and throttle configurations every single flight.
The Problem: Cloud Sync reset my local profile two weeks ago.Auto-detection for peripheral profiles seems broken. Manual re-configuration is required for every session.
Questions: has someone else experience that? and more importantly, is there a solution to this problem?
Many thanks in advance!
It has been this way for me ever since the small update, I think SU1, back in December of 2024. It never saves my controller profiles to the actual aircraft, it is always set on a random profile, and I need to re-set the correct one every time I start the sim. Really annoying to say the least.

Thanks for your feedback so I guess it’s affecting certain users right? Are you aware of any solution to this issue?
Nothing permanent that I am aware of. I have completely wiped my cloud save on two different occasions and built the bindings back from scratch one at a time, and for a while it sticks with it, but eventually it gets itself all mixed up again. Maybe there is a limit to the control profiles or something, I am really not sure. For me, Spad is really the only reliable option. I know there are other programs that will do the same, but Spad is the one I like the best after spending a lot of time learning how to go about using it.
