Be aware, MSFS 2024 ships with the older 2.4.12.0 version of DLSS where 3.8.10.0 is the latest.
Use DLSS Swapper to conveniently swap the version.
The DLSS FG version that ships with the game is atleast the latest, 3.7.10.0

Yes, I swap to latest version of DLSS 3.8. MSFS2024 Graphics look great, smooth and FPS show better (higher)

Itās impossible that FS24 has DLSS 2 and not 3, since the game has frame generation that is DLSS 3 exclusive
Yes, you would think but it definitely says 2.4.12.0 when using DLSS Swapper. And the difference is noticable on my system when updating it to 3.8.10.0.
Iām puzzled by that as well. As you said, DLSS frame generation is a DLSS 3 feature, exclusive to RTX 4xxx (and presumable 5xxx) series cards.
DLSS 2 is primarily a resolution upscaling technology.
I use DLSS Swapper to upgrade to the latest DLSS 3.x.x and I donāt have an issue with blurry or smeared cockpit instruments on my 4K system. I have a 3090 Ti, so I canāt use frame gen.
Also, using nVidia Profile Inspector can unlock higher quality DLSS 3 presets.
Hey can I ask, has this been officially address or responded to elsewhere? Are we expected to have to keep swapping this file out?
hey there, i did that recently but since then, I have some Marketplace Scenery add ons like flytampa EHAM or EKCH that have turned unavailbale and were not streaming anymore. I am also not being able to install them. Weirdā¦ but I do get more FPS although text appears to be a bit blurry sometimes. Can someone help?
This is really the wrong thread for your comments, but read this:
After an update, I had been expecting to have to update the DLSS, by loading the sim, letting it update, letting it get to the main menu, closing the sim down, applying the new DLSS and starting the sim again.
However. it would appear that we are able to get DLSS Swapper to update the version, before the āsim already runningā block comes into play, after the update has been applied. Youāll therefore be able to update the DLSS without having to go through process in my opening paragraph.
No difference in quality same blurry as the older one

You didnāt actually read the text of the link, did you? FS2020 Marketplace sceneries have been disabled from streaming as of over a week ago now. Thatās why you arenāt seeing them.

Iāve upgraded (see YouTube I think Island Pilot) to 3.8, and it is no trouble at all, works fine. Smootherā¦

Do you know if with lasted update this december, DLSS file (nvngx_dlss.dll) have moving to 3.8.10 ?
The file has doubled in size sinceā¦
Am I crazy or did the last update/patch3 include the 3.7 version of DLSS.
@Volky1086 the 3.8.10 should cut the filesize in half compared to previous version.
Yes you are right, 3.7.20 version with latest update and file is about 48.9mbā¦
Somebody try 3.8.10 version with last update ?
I installed 3.8.10 using DLSS Swapper. But to be honest, I donāt feel the difference.
