Hello everyone, I own MSFS 2024 on Steam, which I installed this morning. When I launch the simulator, it asks me to sign in to my Xbox account, but no window opens for me to log in, and it gets stuck on the loading page with language loading.
Thxs for your help.

Ok heard back from support and here is the fix that worked for me.
Disconnect the network
Run the MSFS24 and start it
After a while, you should get message that the game needs an internet connection
Connect the network
After a while, you will be prompted with the XBOX login window
Log in and it should start downloading
Kind regards,
Microsoft Flight Simulator Support Team

The most important detail that Microsoft left out is that if the game launches in full screen mode (which it usually does), you WON’T be able to interact with the Xbox login dialog box window, making it impossible to get past step! The missing detail, that they ASSUME everybody knows (WHICH THEY DON’T!) is that you need to type ALT+Enter to exit Full screen mode. Then you will be able to interact with the Xbox login dialog box in order to login to your account. I spent days hunting the internet for a solution to this issue, but surprisingly found no answer. They should have displayed a message right on the Xbox login dialog box stating “Press ALT+ENTER to exit Full Screen Mode if necessary”

Did you try a reinstall of the app?

Thanks, that did the trick.
Thanks it worked for me also after 7 days struggle. I used this procedure in addition to network disconnection and unplugging of my honeycomb controllers mention by Scodder 1871
Yessss! Unplugging the honeycomb controllers solved the problem.
Thanks for sharing Scodder1871, thank you.
