• I have the same issue. Clean install from Steam. White Login Box comes on. Mouse cursor does not show. Tabbing through entries (to enter uid & password) does not stick and it does a quick cycle through all the fields ending in the last one. Cannot log in for first time.

As a work around, if it is in full screen when this happens, do Alt+Enter… This will pop you into windowed mode and get you your mouse cursor back, then you can proceed.
Hello @JackVarus,
As @KurtVWSims mentioned, cycle full screen to non-full screen so the Xbox overlay repositions. This is the same issue with MSFS 2020 (comes from the overlay).
Another issue it could be - is if you are using a Honeycomb Yoke as this interferes with that popup dialog box.
This only works to a point. Sign in with email fails again. Can’t see anything typed in the dialog box. Even cut and paste comes back with a nebulous “Enter a valid email address, phone number, or Skype name.” I won’t go off on the obvious tanget as to why I need an XBOX account. But I must have entered 500, by now.
In order to play MSFS 2024, an Xbox account is required to log in. If your mouse is not showing up, press ALT | ENTER and bring your screen into Windowed mode to press the Connect Button succcessfully.
We will look into the issue of the mouse disappearing. Thank you!
Thanks. I’m trying to be kind. This would have been found easily if you had just a small number of beta testers. But thanks for the reminder to stay cool.
I unplugged the Honeycomb Yoke. No change. Then I rebooted. BIO!
It let me enter uid & password (mouse cursor showing). Now it is slowly (very slowly) Loading Language. Let’s wait and see. At least I see some progress. Will report when I get in.
I hope the Honeycomb yoke works (maybe there is a new driver or something). Brand new expensive yoke. Not a happy camper so far. Let’s wait and see once I get in and plug in the yoke USB again.

• I get all tthe way to the screen where I have to tpe in my password for my Microsoft account and it would respond to mey keystrokes to add the password.
Hallelujah … funny how if you keep digging, you can stumble on a solution to a problem. It was, in fact, the Honeycomb Yoke that was throttling the process. Unplugged it and voila. Of course, I was then told that there were too many users, try again later. But it got me through.
Thanks for the tip.
Not off to a good start. It seems they did not bother test the install with a pretty common yoke plugged to the PC. I don’t want to see the rest of the sim. I’ve asked for a refund.
