MSFS 2024 V1.1.10.0 EFB pop out window SLOW on second monitor

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

When I move the EFB pop out window to a second monitor, it takes a long time to react to my inputs and to show movement of the plane flying in the Route (Map) view. It also causes the frame rate to drop with stutters. I also loose all aircraft controls until I move the mouse curser back to the main display.

Same here, it’s pretty much useless.

I hope it gets fixed… I spent $425.00 CDN to get the perfect sized touch display for the EFB pop out!

Something to consider:

If you have a PC with an built in or internal videocard/output separate from your Main GPU use that output to the monitor you use for popouts or other related SIM apps. This frees up your Main GPU and can eliminate any reduction in performance for the Sim due to those popout windows and such. Just a thought.

I used to have an internal video output capable PC but forgot to make sure I got one with my new PC so kind of miss that ability.

Same problem here. It is not related to the second monitor, it just happens when popping out the EFB to a new window in the same monitor. A real pitty, cause I began trying it in a tablet and it seems that it had a pretty useful tactil control!

The latest patch (DEC 11, 2024) seems to have fixed the issue. Try it and post your results here.

Yes, it seems a lot better. Maybe not 100% smooth, but it is fast enough.

I am experiencing some trouble using it with the tactil interface in a tablet; but that is another issue.
