Hello everyone,
I’m looking for some clarification and help regarding throttle calibration on the iniBuilds Airbus in MSFS 2024 on Xbox Series X, using the standard Xbox controller (no HOTAS).
I believe I accidentally put the aircraft in a bad state and I’m now unable to recover normal throttle behavior.
What happened:
-
I opened the iniBuilds EFB → Throttle Calibration page
-
I pressed Set IDLE / CLB / FLX / TOGA
-
Since then, throttle behavior is completely inconsistent
Current issues:
-
Throttle detents no longer work
-
A/THR behaves unpredictably
-
Pressing A on the calibration buttons now does nothing
-
Resetting the calibration in the EFB does not fix the issue
-
Controller bindings are otherwise default (no custom curves or deadzones)
In MSFS 2020, throttle calibration with the Xbox controller was straightforward, but in MSFS 2024 it seems very different, and I’m unsure whether this feature is actually supported for controller users.
My questions:
-
Is throttle calibration in the iniBuilds Airbus unsupported on Xbox controllers in MSFS 2024?
-
Is there a way to fully reset throttle calibration (EFB + aircraft state) without reinstalling the aircraft or sim?
-
Should Xbox users avoid touching the throttle calibration page entirely and rely on default behavior?
-
Is a HOTAS effectively required now to use iniBuilds aircraft correctly on Xbox?
Any guidance from the devs or from other Xbox users would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help.
