MSFS ADDONS LINKER - Problem

Sorry, I am a beginner to MSFS and from today also the great (theoretically) add-on MSFS ADDONS LINKER.
Unfortunately, after completing all the necessary setup steps, my MSFS doesn’t see any add-ons.
There are shortcuts for all add-ons in the Community folder (airplanes, airports, scenery), but nothing is active when MSFS is started.
When selecting the downloaded airports (places), I have icons with an exclamation point (!).
What am I doing wrong ???
Please help.

Looks like the airport Bolanza is the only one correctly formatted.

You need to ensure that the manifest.json file is at the correct level in each folder. Look in the Bolanza folder and follow that structure for each of the other folders and it should be all good.

I just unpacked the Bolanza scenery as new and placed it directly in my Addon Linker scenery folder.
I moved the other sceneries / planes, unpacked from the original MSFS Community folder.
There is a problem with that.
I don’t have all the zip files anymore and that’s why I’m terrified of searching all the scenery, airports etc on the internet again and reinstalling. I have a lot of it.
I thought it would be enough to move them from Community to the appropriate MSFS Addons Linker folder.

FS Version set correctly? - I had to set mine to MS Store / DVD - not sure if that matters.

That should be enough since all that the addons linker does is to create a simbolic link to those folders in the community folder. So to the operating system and the sim it looks like the folder is installed there.

I thought so too.
Well, but unfortunately it happened.
I read somewhere that if a file was already originally installed in the Community MSFS folder, it cannot be moved “with impunity”.
The only method is supposedly to reinstall the zip files in the new MSFS Addons Linker folders.
I would love to be wrong and have someone tell me what I can do to avoid tedious downloading and reinstalling scenery / airports / planes etc.

How to find and set msfs2020.exe ?

If you are running MSFS Addons Linker you should be able to open the Options dialog (Leftmost Icon on the toolbar or use the Tools/Options menu). Use the Dropdown list labeled “Choose your FS version” and select MS Store/DVD or Steam. If you pick the fast launch version then the simulator is started without the initial splash screes.

In the Microsoft store version you can not access the fs2020.exe file. The file is protected and hidden in an image file that is not supposed to be accessed by the user.
