Brief description of the issue:

So recently my Sim started to Crash to Desktop. Didn´t matter if i´m 2, 4 or 6 hours in. After some research and testing i came to the cunclusion, that it had most likely nothing to do with any Addon but the virtual memory on my pc used by msfs. So i started tracking my virtual memory to see what happens at the event of the crash (see screenshot below (sadly everything is in german but i think you can still take some information out of it)). As you can see my msfs was currently using about 75% of my virtual memory (i always let Windows handle my virtual memory and it stands around 9GB, found at Performance settings>advanced>change). Then all of the sudden, it went from 75% to around 90% and shortly after my sim crahsed, bringing it down to 40%. So now some questions come up, which some of you could maybe answer: 1. Could this really be the reason of my CTD? 2. Why is msfs using so much virtual memory in the first place? Should it just use my physical ram more? 3. Do you think i can solve my Problem by just increasing my virtual ram to lets say 16GB manually? Thanks for your help!

Yes I noticed very quickly that Windows doesn’t allocate enough virtual memory by default. So now I have a fixed 16GB on my C: drive and none on D: (where my packages are located) … Never a problem since.
