I don’t know what I pressed or clicked during flying on Friday night, but now when the camera is in external freelook mode the view spins and moves wildly when I move the mouse.
I do not need to hold the mouse button down like I did before.
If I move the mouse up to the toolbar, to show the VFR or ATC window, for example the view starts moving and panning wildly. It’s making me feel motion sickness.
I’ve tried resetting the defaults to no avail.
If I depress the right mouse button the cursor disappears, until I release the button.
If I press the middle button / scroll wheel the cursor disappears until I press it again.
I have to click on another window, the Windows desktop, or press the windows key to take attention away from the sim in order to stop it moving.
Freemode in the cockpit works as expected, namely:-
- depressing the right button while moving the mouse
- clicking the middle mouse button to toggle freelock lock off and on again.
