MSFS loads to a black screen with white circle, then crashes

As title mentions. I’ll click play, splash screen opens, does the sign in and all that, loads to a black screen and the white circle spins before CTD.

Apparently I’ve been here for long enough that the system has allowed me to make a topic (yay.) so here’s the current troubleshooting steps taken and my specs:

Specs:
-Faultbucket 1880876933722143954, type 5
Version Windows 10 home 10.0.19045 Build 19045
Processor Intel(R) Core™ i7-8700K
GPU Nvidia RTX 2070 6GB
BaseBoard Product ROG MAXIMUS X HERO (WI-FI AC)
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 32.0 GB
Game Version 1.29.30.0

Steps taken:

I’ve pretty much run through the entire CTD forum you guys have here, and a few other fixes people said have worked from way back (Like reinstalling game services and whatnot) but with no luck.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

FINAL POST EDIT FOR CLARITY: The solution provided by MichaMMA is what worked for me, You’ll need to search Services in windows > find Windows Audio service > Right click/Stop > Launch. Everything works after that!

How to Fix Error 0x80070005 in Windows - IONOS

Copy the following command

cmd.exe /C start shell:AppsFolder\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App -FastLaunch

In windows search bar type powershell
Right-click on it and select run as administrator
right-click in the main window of the powershell - press enter

Hey, appreciate the response, no luck here though. Same crash.

Appreciated, I’ve edited my post cause the error went away but we’re back to the original issue.

“I’d like to mention that this is my first launch. Everyone offers ideas and all these articles say to launch in safe or this and that, or launch in safe mode, or change my settings that don’t exist because I can’t launch the game, or delete my non-existent Community folder but my game still needs to be downloaded…”

Is what I was about to say after only going through the first article. Decided to humor the post and go through the second as well, to try and disable the windows audio service.

IT BLOODY WORKED! I could kiss you man, thank you so much! I’ve been at it for days and I finally have a fix, thank you again!

TL;DR Disable Windows Audio in Services during start up

but dont forget: that not mean that you now each time should disable the windows audio service before you start the game. The main solution would like: search for newest audio drivers and install it

You are correct, but I’ve looked for this the first time while trying to fix the problem and all seems well with my audio drivers, nothing in optional/windows updates, nothing in razer synapse or Logi GHUB.

I’ll keep looking, but I appreciate the band-aid solution for now!
