MSFS Music?

Is there any way to permanently silence the irritating theme music in MSFS ?

Any time it crashes (which is very often) I am forced to listen to that rubbish

There must be a *.wav file or something I can just delete ?

It drives me nuts. Da, da, da, da… Da, Da dah. FFS. Get rid of it.

You can mute the music by going to Options → General Options → Sound and setting Music Volume to 0:

It’s kinda hypnotic, isn’t it. I just go do something else while it’s loading, so I’m not usually in the room to hear it. Or, I have a mute button on my amp that I can hit.

While we’re on the topic of music, couldn’t they add new music to the update or add new melodies?

I would guess the music is hard-wired into the coding or someone would have offered an alternative.
But personally it doesn’t bother me.

I know this has been addressed previously, but it would be super if we could drop our own music into the program (like FSX)…no more da da da da…lol!
