MSFS Pop Out Panel Manager (with Touch Panel Support)

Stan et al,

Season’s greetings, getting ready for 10 family members on 25th which will make the house feel like a busy airport ha ha.

Thank you for POPM, its an excellent tool for cockpit building. For general interest here’s my A320 FBW setup on a 15.6in HD touch screen:

It feels very immersive and I don’t need to look at the 3D rendered cockpit (I find juggling the view frustrating). It’s app of the year for me!

I noticed in V4.03.0004 the HUD bar doesn’t track the A320 FBW parking brake state. Searching through Github I found:

public class HudBarData737 : ObservableObject, IHudBarData

I guess the logical thing is to add a new class HudBarDataAirbus, then sort out brake and flaps Airbus style (blank, 0, 1+F, 2, 3, Full as per EICAS)? I saw a brake setting in Javascript somewhere.

As a retired developer I can have a go, but haven’t a clue how you compile and link the EXE.

It can all wait until January of course.
