I guess I’m a little confused. I have been using POM for months on all three of my panels. It’s seamless to me and I have it automatically doing the pop outs and resizing. I have a C172 G1000 panel, a C172 GNS530, 430 panel, and a Piper Arrow III GTN 750,650 panel. The panels pop out perfectly every time and the touch functions on the GTN’s are flawless. I use MF for the hardware interface, Voice Attack, XPforce for my DIY FFB yoke, and Air Manager for instrumentation I have over 300 hours between all three panels and VERY rarely have any trouble. From power button to ready in a cold dark cockpit is about 4 minutes with minimal interaction via a keyboard/mouse. I also only see about a 5 to 10 fps loss on any panel. I’m running almost all the graphic setting on either high or ultra. Guess I’m one of the lucky ones. Here are the C172 panels.
