Yes, I started from scratch POPM profiles.
same here
canât pop out 2nd panel
did u find any solutions ?
Thank you very much⊠this solved the problem for me. It was driving me crazy, so started scrolling through this thread and found your post!
Awesome!
Yeah, i only found out by accident when i updated the Driver.
It resets all filters (which is annoying to begin with), but when i created the new filters, i then noticed the proplem happening again.
Donât think i would have figured it out otherwise as i wouldnât even think of this being the cause.
LOL, I was wondering how you figured that out. And now youâve saved me from further headache with the heads-up that the filters get reset on driver update!
YupâŠitâs annoying.
I know off topic from this thread, but i am looking at options via the forum on ways to save the presets.
Seems like there are a few on here, just need to weed through and see what works best.
Anybody have issues with the camera not tilting or panning down? My camera will move but wonât tilt down. I have hit the auto panning reset and still nothing works thanks.
Has somebody got it to work with the touch displays of the Hondajet ?
I canât get it to work. Propably because they are not on screen in the default camera view ?
I use Spacedesk with an iPad or a Fire Tablet. I have a 21:9 screen with 1440p.
None work for the touch displays, sometimes even the PFD gets popped out instead.
Question: is it supposed to work with the touch displays of the G3000 ? Maybe this App is only for other purposes ?
Edit: I got it wo work with the Longitude, so itâs propably the Hondajet.
Nevermind
Not the Honda Jet, but Iâm using it with the Vision Jet without issue. 3X GTC580 and all work perfectly with touch.
Do you have touch screen support enabled for those windows in Popout Manager?
I need a little help here, I set the location of the panels, but when I click start pop out the camera moves to a new location no idea why and then it fails to pop out the first panel. Iâve tried with override auto panning camera and it doesnât help.
May be related to some keybinding or something? Maybe somebody can help me a little?
Plane is the C414 with GTN750.
In the preferences you can set what key combo selects the view it uses for the popout. Save the view to this key combo and the moment it starts the popout process it will use this to select the correct view. Remember that this view needs to be showing all units to be popped out.
Thanks a lot for the help, worked perfectly!
Still having that pop out issue with trying to separate the second window, here are my specs to maybe help narrow the problem down.
Full Screen
5120x1440
Ryzen 5800X3D
RTX 4090
Win 11
Thank you for an amazing tool. @RoastGnu
I have noticed since AAU 1 the pinch and zoom on G3000/5000 avionics. See screenshot. Currently the pan functions works when GTC is popped out to a touch screen device [tablet]. I was wondering if the zoom function could be made to work possibly ?
POPM uses mouse emulation as a pseudo touch so If it can be done with a mouse then maybe, if it canât then itâs a no. we need proper native support for touch and this should obviously include multi-touch features like this.
We can only but hope for that to come in future. For now I just use zoom from the knob on the GTC. Have it assigned to hardware knob.
The panning works perfect too.
Unfortunately, the underlying MSFS flight instrumentation code seems to only support single click as I was creating the mouse touch emulation but I maybe wrong on that. For zoom to work, MSFS needs to support multi-touch. I havenât thought about this particular use case yet but and I will dive deeper into MSFS code to see if there are any hidden support already but just havenât been implemented yet. If not, it will probably take a lot of work from MSFS side to update their underlying code ti support this feature in the future.
Havenât got those enabled
Hi, Just wanted to say thanks and great work bringing this app to us all, really enjoying the touch features , I am using a 7" Raspberry Pi touch panel, resolution set to 1024x600, is there a way or setting that I can adjust to get better response time from the touch, sometimes its very responsive, other times not so much and I feel something may need ajustment for my screen. thanks again..
Try adjusting âTouch Down Touch Up Delayâ setting in POPM. You can find this setting in File => Preferences => Touch Settings.
I also sometime experienced not so smooth response in the game. I believe it has to do with how MSFS renders the touchable instruments. Since POPM piggybacks on the underlining MSFS code, when the game performs well, my POPM touch feature executes very nicely. But when MSFS slows down for whatever reason (you may not see it on screen but itâs there), the touch to click latency increases and you may feel the choppiness. Iâll do more investigation and see if I can further cut down on the latency when using touch screen.
