MSFS stucks during loading

so, we can relativate it a bit and you can play, but get often a freeze while loading msfs ( not while starting a flight ).

As you re-installed the game, did you completely removed all files which are left - also in AppData ?
And you re-downloaded the whole content as new ?
And you still use not any kind of mod ( which was our main suspection ) ?

You use also no OC or other kind of tools are running, like ProcessLasso, RivaTuner ?

May be you can try to remove the shadercaches, but not sure whether relevant
( windows cleanup and also %LocalAppData%\NVIDIA\DXCache

PS.: and again I assume you had never ever google-maps-add-on installed

It only happen when I press start to flying and it is all the time.

I have remove the entire folder prior the new installation, I am not running any MOD

I will do the rest of the thing you suggest and revert back with feed back

PS.: and again I assume you had never ever google-maps-add-on installed

I had this installed but it was remove form the control panel/unistall .

I did notice I was running riba so I turn off and trying this again

No still not working see below

also see on the taskbar no movement

Please can you double-check the windows hosts file ? Is it empty ?

I am also stuck on the loading screen when the game starts “New Activities”.
I erased the game and had a new SSD M.2 drive installed - so the community folder is not there anymore, but it still hangs at new activities. No google map addon either.
I don’t know what to do, it’s been a week since i cannot play

If the sim gets stuck on the blue bar during initial loading from my experience its always to do with Windows needing to do an update, of some description. Go to windows settings and check for updates.

Make sure everything is up to date.

and check whether old community packages exists within the packages folder
latest example are these workingtitle* mods ( e.g. garmin replacements ) which create folders outside of community area.

Thanks a lot. I’ll try that.
it looks like i paid for a puzzle game - each time there is an update, we need to troubleshoot. !

it works when I run the game as administrator. Otherwise it is stuck.

Whenever I run the game, it’s stuck on the loading screen. Only the reconnect network helped me.

I cannot open a new topic. There is no button or anything for it. Thats why i’ve searched a similar post and reply here. Sorry for that

Sim worked great for the last 20months or so. Did every update yet. MSFS and Windows of course up to date.

But, Since over a week i have a data loading problem:

-My sim stucks while loading after clicking FLY.
Always at the same section, 70% in or so.
If it loads fully (1 of 20 tries), than only if its a very remote location with not much to load

But then, Bing Data is missing. No data is loaded then the standard maps.

  • Even in the World-Map theres no Bing Data!

  • From times to times there is a “connection lost” warning, or “Bandwithd to low”, followed soon by “Reconnected!”

I have already uninstalled the sim and everything related.
Made a complete fresh reinstall, no extensions yet.
Reinstalled GameBar, Xbox App
Did everything i could find on forums like:
english language pack check
timeserver sync
DHCP tables flush
relogin Xbox account
reinstall network card
established a wlan connection through my mobile with hotspot
deleted rolling cache
switched to offline and back online
started the game out of the microsoft store
changed the community server to another location

Nothing helped. Not even a little bit. Problems still persists.

I’m at the very end of my capatibilities

WHAT CAN I DO?!
I’m hoping for different answer than “reinstall windows”

OK - I’M BACK!!!

can’t believe this, but saw one topic in the forums right now, tried this and it finally worked
!!

In the end it was 2 lines an addon added to the windows hosts file. The entries remained there, also after deinstalling the addon (Google Maps addon)

Here’s the topic
