MSFS SWS PC-12 Roll axes not working

SimWorks Studios PC-12 for MSFS 2020
pc-12 and brunner CLS-E MK II yoke does not work.
PC-12 aileron is connected to the rudder, therefore my ellerons do not work, the yoke only responds to pitch
I have CH ruder pedals so Ruder does work for me, and they controls the elleron, ruder to the left then the yoke also turns to the left.

Perhaps you’ve already done this. Try setting the yoke and pedal inputs back to default and start from there. If your pedals control the ailerons something is crossed up on the control assignments. BTW, nice yoke.

There is an interconnect between the rudder and aileron on the real PC12 which is replicated in the SWS PC12. Are you sure that your yoke input is having no aileron input? The aircraft has a very slow roll rate.

In windows load the Game Controllers app and ensure that the device is working as expected.

Thanks to everyone who replied, I have a Brunner CLS-E MK II YOKE, which is controlled by Brunner software, the yoke is not configured via the settings in the simulator, when I configure the aileron in the simulator it works. , but without Force Feedbak, and so all my planes work via this method. In Brunner’s software, each aircraft is configured separately. If you fly a Cessna 172 then you have no hydrolic controls, in a 737 without running engines the controls are heavy. When you start the engines, the hydraulic steering works.
In a Cessna 172, the faster you fly, the heavier the steering, you also feel the vibrations of the engine, etc…
The problem is that in the SWS PC-12 ailerons and ruder are connected together.
I also have the Carenado PC-12, which is very good without this problem.

Hi, I have exactely the same issue, also using Brunner Force Feedback Yoke.
There seems to be a hack to change a variable in an XML file in the community folder however in my installation this XML file isn’t present (I bought the SWS PC-12 from MSFS market place in game, maybe this installation is different from the one you get if you buy it from a different source?)

did you manage to solve this problem on your system?

thanks for any support!

Hello,
Me too I bought the SWS PC-12 from MSFS market
No, I haven’t found a solution other than the one I mentioned,
Configuring the Ayleron in the SIM is the only option at the moment. SWS provides a support address in the marketplace, if you write to it you will receive a message that you have not purchased anything, and if you write to that other address you will not receive an answer, I have been waiting for this for 3 weeks, it is stated that this address does not answer about suport. Now I will give them a 1 on the marketplace. Indeed, that XML file does not exist for the marketplace, Microsoft encrypts those files. It would be easy to solve, but you have to want to. Mentioning a support page that does not work is a no go. I also have the Carenado version and it is very good, they got a 5.

This method only works for a version that you have to place in the community folder, that XML file does not exist for the marketplace version.

Make sure that MSFS is not running
Find this file
\Community\sws-aircraft-pc12\SimObjects\Airplanes\SWS_Pilatus_PC12_4B\model.ext_4b\SWS_PC12_exterior.xml
Open it in Notepad++ and go to line 206:
<AILERON_RUDDER_INTERCONNECT>True</AILERON_RUDDER_INTERCONNECT>
Change “True” to “False”
<AILERON_RUDDER_INTERCONNECT>False</AILERON_RUDDER_INTERCONNECT>
Save.

From now on, Aileron and Rudder can be controlled separately with the default AXIS_AILERONS_SET and AXIS_RUDDER_SET

Hello,

I agree, it’s a real shame. I also contacted them and didn’t receive any helpful reply.

Also why would someone who didn’t purchase this plane bother their support with such specific questions? refusing support on that basis doesn’t make any sense and is very bad policy for SWS. But hey, they already have our money, they can’t see where the problem is.

I have the Carenado version as well however on my system it hits heavily on frame rates. while other complex planes like the 310R run smoothly the Carenado PC-12 causes a lot of stutters (I fly in VR).

Thus I was hoping to get with the SWS PC-12 a version which runs smoother.

The PC-12 is one of my favourite planes, I would like to fly it regularely.

Cheers, M.

I have only flown with
Piper M-Class PA-46 Malibu. piston.
Piper M-Class PA-46 Malibu. turbo.
piper warrior.
Cessna 152 172.
So I don’t know how a PC-12 flies.
For me the Carenado is superior flew as expected, the SWS PC-12 flew a bit strange.
The slip ball goes to the left when you give left foot, normally it is the other way around. The autopilot is ok, to keep its course it rocks again and again, carenado does not have that. With a strong crosswind I was able to land the Carenado nicely on one wheel, with the SWS I could not keep it inline with the runway.
A turbo is not displayed properly in MSFS, with a piston you change the speed of the engine, with a turbo you change the pitch of the prop. At 27,000 feet we once quickly reduced the throttle, you don’t know what you are experiencing, the deceleration was enormous. So landing is very different than with a piston plane, if you put it on idle to glide in, they can scrape you off the runway. I also have a Brunner yoke and it now works without force feedback because I have to set the ailerons in the sim. SWS connected the ailerons to the rudder. My SWS PC-12 goes in the trash. There is an e-mail address for support, but you will not get an answer if you bought it in the sim market.

i have an i9 and rtx 4090 also had stutters, then i noticed my gpu was sleeping, all the work was done by the cpu. I then opened open XR and
Changed the custom display scale to 200, that helped. Me too VR.
