This is beautiful!

To me I think the sim does a fantastic job of creating realism … nicely done, thanks

Nice job! I’m happy you had each video clip tagged because there were times I would lose sight of if it was real world or the sim. Excellect video!

Great video. Simple edits, nicely synchronized to show the comparison.
And thank you for uploading high-rez video. I watched it on my 1440p laptop, and it looked fantastic.

People nitpick about the sim a fair bit. I myself am guilty of that sometimes.
But 99% of the time I’m simply in awe that we have access to this amazing virtual world.

A shame that all the game breaking bugs prevent us from replicating real world flights in MSFS, everything is so completely off and you cannot finish one single flight :slightly_frowning_face::wink: /s
Sorry but with the high amount of negative threads since MSFS24, that comment was needed :joy:

Nice video and nice comparison! This is why I love MSFS. No 100% twin but still so realistic.
And what a picturesque setting both for the RL and the MSFS flight :star_struck:

What I really like is the depiction af the flat humid layer over the landscape especially around 8:00min+ in your video in the distance.
I also noticed very nice depiction of that typical stable winter high pressure related mist in Europe in my flights in the Sim.
That‘s what I love about flying in winter IRL as well.

Is the video made with 20 or 24? The thread is not tagged.

Solid job!!!

Hello. I’m sorry I forgot to tag it. It is MSFS 2020. I have 2024 installed on my PC, but I abandoned it because my add-on Aircraft are not compatible. I will probably wait about a year until all the bugs are worked out of it before I begin using it.

I know it has a lot of new features, but they are things I am not interested in like career mode and scenarios.

I primarily fly MSFS2020 for flight training, especially hand flying instrument procedures. But I also really enjoy flying to places I would never normally fly and enjoy the photo realistic presentation on MSFS 2020. .

I am particularly fond of the quality of the clouds. Clouds are one of my favorite things about flying.

Once they get 2024 ironed out, I look forward to the improved scenery quality. Just waiting for the dust to settle on the new release.

Thanks so much for your comment and happy flying!

It never ceases to amaze me. I am especially fond of the clouds as they are rendered in MSFS. Truly amazing!

Well, thankfully, I did not experience any of that because this was flown in MSFS 2020. I tried 2024, but was gravely disappointed, especially with the fact that the aircraft that I fly in 2020 are not compatible with 2024. I will patiently wait however long is necessary for them to work out all the bugs in 2024 before I begin using it.

Hello. I totally agree. I am continually amazed by the photorealism in the simulator. I used to fly X plane 11 exclusively, but I have come to appreciate the photorealism of MSFS. It allows me to experience places throughout the world that I will never have the opportunity to fly.
