If you are in the Oculus beta revert back to the stable version.

Even with the entire headset disconnected it does not start up. And it always starts up flatscreen anyways doesnt it.

It gets just about 2 or three seconds further than this and then quits out to desktop

Uninstall Oculus software and restart PC.

Launch msfs.

my occulus works fine, why would that help?

Because there is currently an issue with this software so please uninstall it for testing purpose.

Restart PC.

I think problem is not occulus but msfs2020, i play quite a couple of other VR titles no problem at all.

Nope mate

hmm you may be right, seems DCS wont start either.
Il2 does work..

ok.. but how am i gonna fly without VR?

Nope, uninstall oculus software and restart PC.

Download and install “stable version”. Do not install or update to beta version!
