MSFS2020 Flight plan not correctly transferred to Sim

Twice today, I’ve tried trans-Canada IFR flights (East coast to Anchorage). I’m using Navigraph Charts to spec my start and stop airports and runways, have it do autoroute, then export in as a .flp file. I pick this up in LittleNav Map, set parking place at departure and altitude, then export that as a file for MSFS2020.
The LittleNav Map route is identical to that in Navigraph Charts. I adjust fuel and weight in the sim, then go to load/save, load from this PC, then choose the new flight plan from Downloads folder. I then wait for the sim loadup and choose FLY. When the sim responds, I choose Ready To Fly. Cold and dark, I get the aircraft (Longitude) lit up and select the flight plan. Instad of a 30-40 waypont flight plan, I have a takeoff and a direct flight to Anchorage. What’s up with that?? LOL

Maybe one of the topics in this search may help?

Thanks for the quick reply! I browsed the topic earlier, some seemingly related, but none fit the bill. My first thought was SimConnect, but that’s a built-in piece of code. Ordinarily, I followed the same process I’ve used for months, if not years. The only deviation I made today was to download the scenery update for the USA. Not sure how that may be related. Maybe if I delete that update? Anybody else see any straws floating by that I can furitively grab at?

FWIW, Try saving the LNM plan as a MSFS 2020 plan then load that saved flight into the sim from the world map. That should get everything in sync.

Thanks! I’ll try that, but I’ve been testing with different Flight Plans and aircraft. Everything else is loading into the sim correctly. Just seems to be those two E-W Flight Plans across Canada that are failing to load. I’ll give your suggestion a whirl…

Pretty strange. Flights in the US all seem to load correctly with the Charts to LNM process. Same goes for the flights I tried cross-Canada (like Edmonton to Calgary). Just won’t seem to get the right flight plan for the Edmonton to Anchorage flight plan where I noticed the discrepancy. Oh well, too much daylight in Alaska right now anyway (19+ hours LOL!)
