I can assure you that your brain is at least 1000 times better at optimizing games than a buggy Nvidia app. If the games are running fine, you don’t need to rely on the “optimized” label. You’ll get much better results by adjusting the graphics settings manually based on your preferences and performance goals.
That’s why the only reliable way to keep using all of the Nvidia App features without CTD is to switch from DX11 to DX12 in your usercfg.opt or alternatively select DX12 in MSFS 2020 graphics settings before installing the Nvidia App.
