MSFS2020 issues since the launch of MSFS2024

Never had an issue with MSFS2020. Not for years anyway. Now coming back to it today after a couple of weeks on P3D, and have had 3 CTDs, and my controls have been affected, and all the assistance menus have been reset to default. ??!!

Odd.

For reference, I’ve been using 2020 the last few days with zero issues.

I know that may not be directly helpful, but it is useful to know that the sim is capable of performing as you would expect it to.

Any other error/warning messages before that one? I had a few crashes recently when my machine ran out of virtual memory.

CTDs can also mess up your menu settings, I’ve had my assistance settings reset to default on more than one occasion.

A couple of different CTD messages, but nothing indicating Virtual memory, and I’ve never encountered that before.

That exception code is very general.
I had one just a few months ago with FS2020.
This article helped me the most:

Was having this issue for several weeks before finding the post that speaks to updating the pagefile size. This appears to have done it for me. Why specifically I don’t know. But it worked.

I’m on 96GB RAM.
2024 CTD every flight.
Pagefile enabled (system decides).

Any sane reason I should have pagefile size updated ?

I keep getting a message that says my system will allow me to run 2024 w/ ultra settings. However, the sim keeps crashing while loading, after loading, during a flight, in career mode, during discovery flights and on an on…
HELP!

Any of you guys have XMP or D.O.C.P. enabled to overclock your RAM? If so, check your voltages. This was a huge issue with many users on MSFS 2020.

Same here, getting 0xc0000374 from ntdll.dll, but from Msfs 2024
