Can someone tell me the proper settings that need to be checked for backing up MSFS2020? I had ro reformat my computer and when I reinstalled MSFS2020 and signed back I’m I lost my flight hours. It showed 0 in MSFS2020 but on steam it shows my 500 hours?

If you didn’t backup that logbook file before you reformatted, unfortunately it is gone forever.
That’s the exact opposite of how cloud sync is supposed to work.
So that file needs to be backed up to a external hard drive etc?
If you are reformatting then yes, it needs to be backed up somewhere other than the drive you are reformatting. The logbook is not very big (mine is about 10MB) so you can even copy it to a memory stick or cloud storage.

I am surprised that steam screwed it up.
Steam cloud saves what the title tells it to. If MSFS isn’t telling Steam to back up the log, it doesn’t back it up.
