Thank you, it is a 2024 one - the cockpit glass is dark and pilots are form 2024
Version 7.16.0 - Fuel from Wing tanks is still not usable - Wing tanks switch is still Inoperative, automatic switching btw fuel tanks to keep the plane in balance is not still done. No way to use this fuel inflight, no way to start the engine with the Center tank empty.
This is a CRITICAL BUG which is not fixed since 2020!
Version 7.16.0 GPU yellow lamp-knob is still not operatable by mouse (but can be assignable via the key-board)
External view - cockpit transparency changes with distance from which you look at the plane
Edit July 2026 (the forum does not allow me to send more than 3 reply)
Now, July 2026 SU6 Beta it is version 0.0.17? What is going on?
Changes - I do not see that white strange lighting with electric OFF in the cockpit for the default plane (on other Reno L-39 versions it is still there), gauges can be lighted red/white but the light source is still displaced, as a result the low raw of the gauges is not lighted
All the other bugs are still (fuel (wingtip tanks are not operatable, fuel is not usable from them), GPS screen non-working properly - auto-brightness, ) there, no jet-suit for co-pilot available)
I did not test it in flight to check if her engine is loosing its power like a prop non-turbo plane at altitude - this bug was here from the first day
FYI, SU6 fixes:
Thank you Asobo team for your efforts.
There are still problems with how the gauges/panels are lighted.
-
The watch is not lighted at all.
-
There are no gauges/panel lights in the second cockpit at all. The reason is not clear as we are not able to take the co-pilot’s seat and try to switch the lights and they are not connected to the light switch in the 1st cockpit.
-
Light sources for the gauges in the first (and may be in the second if there are any of them) cockpit are misplaced vertically (may be the are misplaced “in depth” as well) and do not illuminate the gauges properly (and the lowest row of them is not lighted at all as a result).
I post some pictures from both cockpits herewith:
And this is how they have to be - this is MSFS2020 Sarance variant of the L-39 (not ideal, but at least we can read gauges):
From Release Notes - SU7 Beta 1.9.10.0 - September 11, 2026
